The Plume

Plume is a cooperative card game for 2 or 3 players where the goal is to contain a plume of contamination in an aquifer or watershed through the application of site-specific technology, financial resources, and community support. 

Each Round the Plume spreads with unknown direction and consequence. If all Revealed Sites are Contained and the Spread is stopped, then the players have won. If the players run out of cards or the Plume Spreads Uncontained throughout the Cardscape, then the players have lost.

Also, as an abstract game designed to promote conversation about what the game is "about', The Plume has been a metaphor, in several play sessions, around addressing other forms of spreading toxicity including hate speech and targeted violence.

All you need are these rules and a deck of standard playing cards.
